Introduction

What Kodzi is, what it does today and what is still planned.

Kodzi is a coding studio that lives in your browser tab. It is built for people who learn by making things: you open a template or a blank project, edit real files in a real editor, and see the result run next to your code a moment after you stop typing.

The difference from pasting code out of a chat window is control. Every suggested change, whether it comes from the optional assistant or from the built-in helper, arrives as a diff. Nothing touches your files until you accept it, file by file.

How a change reaches your project

  1. You describe it. A plain request such as “make the comets fall faster after every five catches”.
  2. A draft is proposed. The assistant (when the site has one configured) or the rule-based helper turns it into file changes.
  3. You review the diff. Added lines in green, removed in red, one checkbox per file.
  4. You run it. The preview reruns in its sandbox and the console shows logs and errors.

What runs today

The editor, file tree, six starter templates, sandboxed live preview with console capture, the built-in helper, code review, ZIP export and import, and snapshots anchored on Robinhood Chain. The assistant runs only when the operator has set it up; the studio tells you which is the case.
