Files, folders and the limits that keep the studio fast.

A project is a list of text files with relative paths such as index.html or js/game.js. Folders exist only as part of a path. The studio opens html, css, js, mjs, json, md, txt and svg files.

Limits

  • Up to 40 files, 200 KB per file and 600 KB per project.
  • Paths use letters, digits, dot, dash and underscore, with / between folders.
  • Up to 30 projects in one browser. Clearing site data removes them, so export a ZIP of anything you want to keep.

Where it is stored

Projects are saved in your browser’s local storage after each edit. They never leave the device unless you send files to the assistant or download them yourself.
